School Meals

Our meals are provided by Edsential Catering on a two week rolling menu. The meals offered are nutritious and fresh produce is used. You can find our current menu by clicking here.

Payment for meals must be made in advance, preferably by ParentPay. Payment can also by made by cash or cheque, which should be made out to Cheshire West and Chester Council.

If you wish to pay by cash or cheque, correct payment should be put in a sealed envelope with your child's name and year group.  If your child is absent, a credit will be made.  If you think your child is eligible for free school meals, please collect the necessary form from the school office.

Bringing food to school

Children who do not have a school meal may bring a packed lunch. This should be in a secure container labelled with their name. Appropriate food hygiene precautions should be taken e.g. ice pack.  Drinking water is available in school. If children bring their own drinks then these should be in safe container such as plastic flask or bottle and not in cans or glass bottles. No fizzy drinks or sweets, please. If your child forgets their packed lunch, school will try to contact you, but if unable to do so your child will be provided with a school lunch and you will be asked to reimburse the school.

You may like your child to have a mid-morning snack.  We welcome fruit and vegetables, but NOT sweets, chocolate, crisps or gum.  The school cook provides healthy morning snacks for very a reasonable cost.

KS1 children are provided with fruit every afternoon.
